FRIDAY NIGHT JAZZ | 91.3 FM KVLU

In July 2023, Andre launched Friday Night Jazz on 91.3 FM KVLU following an interview about the upcoming debut of the Golden Triangle Big Band to share his passion for jazz with a wider audience. 

The weekly program features a curated blend of classic recordings, contemporary artists, and often-overlooked voices in the jazz world. Designed to be both accessible and enriching, the show invites listeners to explore the depth and variety of jazz from its roots to its modern expressions. Andre’s thoughtful programming reflects his commitment to preserving the tradition while celebrating the genre’s ongoing evolution. 

In April of 2025, Andre stepped away from the program to focus on graduate studies and rebalance his responsibilities. While Friday Night Jazz is currently off the air, he hopes to return to the format in the future either by reviving the show himself or supporting new voices who can carry the torch and bring fresh ideas to the mic.
